April 08, 2023 - So Ive been fortunate to photograph several artist & bands multiple times, some more than others.  Blue October is one of those bands Ive had the pleasure to photograph 4 times now, with the first 2 shows being allowed full show coverage!  No music photographer is going to pass up an opportunity to capture it all!  Blue October was wrapping up a 70 show tour of Spinning The Truth Around with two sold out hometown shows at 713 Music Hall!  This was also my first time at 713, very nice venue and nice staff too.  There was a bit of minor confusion initially as the Beatnik Bandits took the stage, but was resolved before Blue October took over the party!

Blue October seems to always make sure to try and include everyone that wants to come and hang for the evening, in 2017 Justin came down off stage to interact with the crowd along with some additional VIP’s at stage right.  This year was some thing Ive never seen and sorry I didn’t get their contact info, but the young man in the old iPhone photo and another young lady seated, ASL interpretors signed the entire show to one young lady sitting in the front row!  I would have liked to have gotten to photograph the entire show, but getting spoiled those first two shows it doesn’t hurt to wish.  Still had a great night!  I wish Id have started covering them a bit earlier too!
