Houston Whatever Fest rolled back into town for two days of music and comedy, with over 40 bands and just as many comedians there was something and someone to please all your musical tastes and tickle your funny bone too!  HWF continues to grow and attract entertainers from all over, along with a good sized helping of local talent!

The main thing I love about the music festivals is the artist I might not discover otherwise, like Houston's own Londale this year.  Houston is so fortunate to have So Many musical venues, clubs and even the local burger joint that has live music, that there is just no way to keep up with it all!  Festivals like HWF offer the opportunity to take in a large cross section of musical talent and discover new artist.  As the norm there were also so fine eats on hand to satisfy your taste buds.  One truck even had watermelon slices to cool down with!

However the fickle weather that can be Houston threatened the festivities on Sunday and the fun was moved inside the Warehouse Live and this years original host The Secret Group.  While I can't say if it was ever a factor at HWF, sadly it was where I live and having a ride of questionable safety on dry pavement that weekend I had to miss out on day two.  That problem has been solved and I looking forward to next year!  The fine folks at Warehouse Live and The Secret Group did an amazing job as always!

Till next time,
Richard Roesler
